2016 NFL Mock Draft: Damn You Colin Kaepernick

This week we went with a three round trade mock after the news started flying about Colin Kaepernick to the Broncos. The deal isn't done yet, but what fun is making assumptions if you don't spend two nights struggling to put together a mock over one player?

NFL DRAFT: FIRST THREE ROUNDS
RD 1
TEAM
RD 2
TEAM
RD 3
TEAM
1
Titans - Jalen Ramsey, CB/S, Florida State - Taking Tunsil leaves you in an odd spot with two LTs. Ramsey comes in and is a playmaker.
32
Browns - Michael Thomas, WR, Ohio State
64
Titans  - Zack Sanchez, CB, Oklahoma
2
Browns - Ezekiel Elliot, RB, Ohio State - Is this pick a little crazy? Yes. Are the Browns a little crazy? Yes. Elliott becomes the lead back day one.
33
Titans - Kenny Clark, DT, UCLA
65
Browns - Jayron Kearse, S, Clemson
3
Chargers - Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss - Chargers line is getting better, but Tunsil is on another level.
34
Cowboys - Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma State
66
Chargers - Austin Hooper, TE, Stanford
4
Cowboys - Myles Jack, LB, UCLA - Jack N’ Jerry, Jerry N’ Jack. It just feels right.
35
Chargers - Su’a Cravens, S/OLB, USC
67
Cowboys - Artie Burns, CB, Miami
5
Jaguars - Joey Bosa, DE/Rush, Ohio State - Bosa and Fowler could be a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks. Bosa is the power to Fowler’s athleticism.
36
Ravens - Noah Spence, DE/OLB, Eastern Kentucky
68
49ers - Joshua Garnett, G, Stanford
6
Ravens - Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame - The Ravens lost their best lineman to Free Agency. Stanley can replace a broken Eugene Monroe.
37
49ers - Jaylon Smith, LB, Notre Dame
69
Jaguars - Deion Jones, OLB, LSU
7
49ers - Jared Goff, QB, Cal - Kaepernick is probably heading to Denver. Goff is the California Kid plus he’s good at the football.
38
Jaguars - Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
70
Ravens - Paul Perkins, RB, UCLA
8
Eagles (from MIA) - Vernon Hargreaves III, CB, Florida - The Eagles secondary is horrid. Hargreaves comes in and replaces the hole left by Byron Maxwell.
39
Buccaneers - Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville
71
Giants - Sterling Shepard, WR, Oklahoma
9
Buccaneers - Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss - This move gives the Bucs and opportunity to dump an aging Vincent Jackson and potentially get a better option.
40
Giants - Joshua Perry, OLB, Ohio State
72
Bears - A’Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama
10
Giants - Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State - Decker is plug and play at this point. Figure out who plays left tackle between Decker and Flowers.
41
Bears - Jerald Hawkins, OT, LSU
73
Dolphins - Tyler Higbee, TE, Western Kentucky
11
Bears - (Trade to Jets) - Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis - The Jets move up to get their guy and dump a heavy price tag on Mo Wilkerson.
42
Dolphins - (Trade to Cardinals) - Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State
74
Buccaneers - Jalen Mills, S, LSU
12
Saints -Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson - The Saints need to fix a secondary that once looked promising. Alexander gives them a #2 corner.
43
Rams (from PHI) - Vonn Bell, S, Ohio State
75
Raiders - Keanu Neal, S, Florida
13
Dolphins (from PHI) (Trade to Washington) - DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon - Washington had a great season in 2015 and Buckner being on the board is worth this move. He is a big upgrade for their defense.
44
Raiders - Germain Ifedi, OT, Texas A&M
76
Rams - Max Tuerk, C, USC
14
Raiders - Reggie Ragland, ILB, Alabama - Doesn’t Ragland just feel like a Raider? He’s going to knock your teeth out if you try and run the ball on him.
45
Rams - Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas
77
Eagles -Spencer Drango, G, Baylor
15
Rams - Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State - “Yeah we’ve got Foles and this stud Case Keenum.” Shut it Jeff Fisher and take a real quarterback.
46
Lions - La’Raven Clark, OT, Texas Tech
78
Saints - Shawn Oakman, DE, Baylor
16
Lions -Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor - Billings will come in and be the penetrating 3 tech the Lions have been missing since Suh left.
47
Saints - Cody Whitehair, G, Kansas State
79
Eagles - Christian Hackenberg, QB, Penn State
17
Falcons - Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson - The Falcons get another stud pass rusher from Clemson. Lawson is a little bit more well rounded than Beasley.
48
Colts - Shilique Calhoun, DE, Michigan State
80
Bills - Jeremy Cash, S, Duke
18
Colts - Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State - Conklin has a chance to go higher than this, but the Colts will take his skill and tenacity on their line.
49
Bills - Kamalei Correa, OLB, Boise State
81
Falcons - Tyler Matakevich, LB, Temple
19
Bills - Adolphus Washington, DT, Ohio State - Rex Ryan is forcing the BIlls into a really weird 34 defense. Get some pieces that actually fit.
50
Falcons - Karl Joseph, S, West Virginia
82
Colts - Miles Killebrew, S, Southern Utah
20
Jets - (Trade to Bears) - Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia - Floyd torched the Combine, and will bring unique athleticism to the Bears.
51
Jets - Jarran Reed, DT, Alabama
83
Jets - Jordan Jenkins, OLB, Georgia
21
Redskins - (Trade to Dolphins) - William Jackson III, CB, Houston - Miami trades down and gets a guy who they could consider at 13. Jackson could be the top corner in this class a few years from now.
52
Texans - Kevin Dodd, DE, Clemson
84
Redskins - Kenneth Dixon, RB, LA Tech
22
Texans - Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor - Coleman is a burner and a technician, something you don’t see too often. He’ll be great with Nuke.
53
Redskins - (Trade to Dolphins) (Trade to Cardinals) - Jonathan Bullard, DE/DT, Florida
85
Texans - Ryan Kelly, C, Alabama
23
Vikings - Josh Doctson, WR, TCU - Doctson his a clone of AJ Green/DeVante Parker which the Vikings will welcome with open arms.
54
Vikings - Vadal Alexander, G, LSU
86
Vikings - Charles Tapper, DE, Oklahoma

24
Bengals - Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State - The Bengals like long corners and their top corner now is aging.
55
Bengals - Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame
87
Bengals - Austin Johnson, DT, Penn State
25
Steelers - Darian Thompson, S, Boise State - After missing out on some of the top corners the Steelers grab a really talented playmaking safety.
56
Seahawks - Chris Jones, DT, Mississippi State
88
Packers - Jerell Adams, TE, South Carolina
26
Seahawks - Shon Coleman, OT, Auburn - Seattle has no tackles, none. Coleman is a talented pass and run blocker, but will need to be coached up.
57
Packers - Scooby Wright, LB, Arizona
89
Steelers - Roberto Aguayo, K, Florida State
27
Packers - Robert Nkemdiche, DT, Ole Miss - Don’t worry about Nkemdiche’s off the field issues. He’s a steal at this point for a team that can need him.
58
Steelers - Xavien Howard, CB, Baylor
90
Seahawks - John Theus, OT, Georgia
28
Chiefs - Tyler Boyd, WR, Pitt - Boyd will be an asset to a team that just is just one year removed from having no receivers with a touchdown.
59
Chiefs - Carl Nassib, DE, Penn State
91
Patriots - Braxton Miller, WR, Ohio State
29
Cardinals - (Trade to Dolphins) - Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama - Miami moves back into the first for a running back they really like. Henry is essentially a created Madden player from when I was 11.
60
Patriots - Tyler Johnstone, OT, Oregon
92
Cardinals - Harlan Miller, CB, Southeast Louisiana
30
Panthers - Jason Spriggs, OT, Indiana - I love Jason Spriggs and this is a great need pick for the Panthers. Instant RT and can be a LT if they feel comfortable.
61
Patriots (From AZ) - Kyler Fackrell, LB, Utah State
93
Panthers - Landon Turner, G, North Carolina
31
Broncos - Darron Lee, OLB, Ohio State - Lee will probably not last this long, but in the Broncos defense they could let him loose to cause chaos.
62
Panthers - Devontae Booker, RB, Utah
94
Broncos - Tyvis Powell, S, Ohio State

63
Broncos - Nick Martin, C, Notre Dame
